A veteran of the United States Air Force and a graduate of American Public University, I have gained knowledge through my vast life experiences. Now, I am preparing for entry into graduate school for a degree in health sciences. I had my first experience with a tutor when I was a teenager in high school. Another student helped me, which led me to feel more comfortable with the learning process. I wasn't afraid to ask anything or to address concerns, because this person was my peer. I then became interested in tutoring myself. My strengths lie in math and science.I like the fact that one-on-one instruction provides an opportunity for lessons to be student-centered. My aim is to instill effective reasoning and study skills into each person I work with so that they can find success in their academic endeavors. The learning relationship is a mutually beneficial one, as I would be building upon my own skill set with each new situation. Together, we will practice the methods presented until a desirable comfort level is achieved. People must always be persistent when it comes to achieving their goals, and I am an excellent guide to help you get there.
